Plant Description
Large scale, evergreen tree with large, glossy leaves. Large scale white flower blooms in summer with a fragrant scent. Ideally located in a large, open space to grow to a wide form. Can also be used in tighter, more upright form with some of the specific varieties, but be careful to select property for ideal lifespan and health of the plant. Difficult to grow other shrubs or groundcovers beneath them due to shallow, root system and bottom of plant will get thin as it gets older. Prefers acidic or sandy soils. Can be trained into espalier form for walls.
