Cercis canadensis

Plant Description
Smaller scale, deciduous, ornamental tree with bright pink blooms in early spring and heart shaped leaves. One of the first to bud and show color in the spring, it works well when planted in a grouping or as an understory tree. A pretty durable tree that performs well and is drought tolerant. White Redbud variety has white blooms in spring and the attractive 'Forest Pansy' variety has deep purple leaves that are a great addition to any garden.
